A device that should no longer be used to accept Spok Mobile messages can be unregistered from Spok Mobile. After it has been unregistered, the device can still be used to send and receive pages other than pages sent using the Spok Mobile MC application.
After a Spok Mobile client application has been unregistered, a confirmation email is sent to the specified email address to let the user know that the device has been unregistered. If the device is registered to more than one site, the name of the site from which the device was unregistered is included.
1. Click on the Personal Profile tab and log in if required to do.
2. Click on the Device Mgmt tab to view the list of assigned pagers.
3. Click the Mobile Registration link for a registered pager. A new browser window automatically opens and displays the Spok Mobile Registration web site. The web site is automatically populated with the device information.
4. Click the Cancel Registration button. The screen is updated and a confirmation dialog displays.
5. Click the OK button to close the dialog and review the screen. The email address has been removed from the Email Address field and the registration status is blank.
