Sorting the Search Results

The search results are displayed in the results screen. By default, the search results are sorted alphabetically by name, beginning with the letter “A”, or numerically by number, beginning with the number “1”. A yellow arrow next to the column title in a column signifies which column is being used as the sort column, and in which direction the records are sorted.

The yellow arrow points up to signify the records are sorted from first to last (1 to x, A to Z).

The yellow arrow points down to signify the records are sorted from last to first (x to 1, Z to A).

To select a different sort column, place the cursor on the column title. When the cursor changes to a hand, click on the column title to sort the items in the column. The sort order is from first to last (1 to x, A to Z) by default. Click the column title again to change the sort order from last to first (x to 1, Z to A).

NOTE: You cannot sort the search results in the Global Search screen. Only the results in the Directory Search screen can be sorted.
