Restricted Access Pager (RAP) Status

A person or a function can be assigned a Restricted Access Pager (RAP). A RAP pager requires the person sending the page to enter a RAP password before the page can be sent. An individual assigned a RAP pager has “RAP PAGER” displayed in red in the Status column in the Paging screen.

The page type displayed in the Type column continues to represent the current paging status for the individual.

 

 

When the user clicks on the green and white plus sign icon to select the individual as a recipient for a page, the RAP password dialog displays.

1.  Enter the person’s RAP password in the dialog.

2.  Click the Submit button.
