The module access settings for a directory record determine what directory information can be accessed by Smart Speech, Smart Console, and Smart Web, and how the directory information is shared. When a new directory record is created, the default module access settings are assigned. These can be changed manually for each directory record individually.
The default module access settings are determined by an organization’s System Administrator in Smart Center. How the options are initially set when the directory record is created is discussed in the User’s Guide to Smart Center.
NOTE: The module access settings should be changed only by an organization’s System Administrator.
The module access settings can be changed by selecting a directory record in the Directory section and choosing to edit the record.
For information about the action controlled by the settings for each Spok module, please refer to Module Access Settings.
