The
instructions assigned to a person, function, or on-call group can be displayed
by clicking on the blue “i” circle icon next to a name to display the
instruction in a pop-up box, or by simply hovering the cursor over the icon. The
method available depends on how your system is configured.
Instructions are assigned to a listing record in Smart Center using the SMART WEB instruction type. Only instructions of the SMART WEB type can display in Smart Web, and only one instruction of this type can display in the pop-up window. If more than one instruction of the SMART WEB type is assigned to the record, the precedence rules determine which instruction displays.
• If all of the instructions of the SMART WEB type have a display order assigned, the instruction with the highest order number displays. The highest order number is 1.
• If none of the instructions of the SMART WEB type have a display order assigned, the first SMART WEB instruction in the list displays.
• If at least one instruction of the SMART WEB type is assigned a display order number and at least one instruction of the SMART WEB type is not assigned a display order number, the first SMART WEB instruction in the list that is not assigned a display order number displays.
Be aware that when an instruction of the SMART WEB type is assigned to a record, it is displayed immediately in Smart Web, depending on the display precedence. The instruction displays in Smart Web until the instruction is removed from the record.
NOTE: Instructions are assigned to an individual or on-call group within Smart Center. You cannot assign instructions within Smart Web.
